After her stroke, Patty Ericson-Taylor wasn’t sure she would ever garden again. Today, she’s back tending her deck garden, raised beds, and lower garden, growing vegetables, herbs, and even pumpkins. In this video, Patty shares the tools and simple adaptations that help make gardening possible again, including raised beds, a garden cart, seed tape, adaptive pruners, reachers, and a hose wand. She also explains how enriching her soil with natural materials and growing her own food keeps her connected to something she loves: cooking healthy meals from her garden.
