
NCHPAD and Lakeshore Foundation have partnered to create a new collection of exercise videos designed specifically for individuals who use power wheelchairs. The Power Wheelchair Exercise Series features adaptive workouts led by NCHPAD Exercise Physiologist John Reams and developed in collaboration with McCartney Hagar and Zach Woolley.
The series demonstrates practical ways to improve cardiovascular fitness, breathing, posture, balance and core strength through exercises tailored for power wheelchair users. Whether you’re just beginning an exercise routine or looking to incorporate more movement into your day, these accessible workouts offer flexible options to help you stay active in ways that work best for your body.
