Lower Limb Amputee 10 Minute Mobility Routine

Quick Navigation

Focus mode

This guided workout is created for individuals with lower limb loss who want to strengthen balance, mobility, and confidence in daily movement.

Led by exercise physiologist John Reims, the session features a circuit of three exercises—forward/backward hops or steps, Superman variations, and windmills. Recreation specialist Jay Reid and disability advocate Karen Bullock, a below-knee amputee, demonstrate modifications to make each move accessible.

Each exercise is done for one minute with short rest breaks in between, helping you focus on:

  • Building confidence with your prosthetic leg
  • Enhancing stability through weight shifts
  • Expanding range of motion
  • Developing flexibility and coordination
