  • Obtenga una evaluación médica completa y el permiso del médico antes de empezar un programa de ejercicios.
  • Use zapatos apropiados y suelas suaves para máxima absorción de choque.
  • Es una buena idea obtener una evaluación biomecánica y considerar instrumentos ortopédicos para proteger sus tobillos y rodillas.
  • Note que algunos medicamentos para la artritis pueden afectar el sistema cardio-pulmonar e inhibir niveles de funcionamiento. Si usted está tomando medicamentos formulados, por favor consulte a su médico.
  • Tratamientos de calor o hielo (ducha, hielo, masaje) antes y después de hacer ejercicio puede reducir el dolor y la incomodidad. Obtenga el consejo y las instrucciones de un profesional entrenado en como usar estos tratamientos.
