NCHPAD - Building Healthy Inclusive Communities

Font Size:

From the Editor's Desk: Happy 10th Birthday, NCHPAD!

In March 1999, a partnership between the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, the National Center on Accessibility and the National Center on Health, Physical Activity, and Disability was created through a grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This partnership was formed to promote the substantial health benefits that can be gained from participating in regular physical activity and other health promotion activities. We are proud and excited to continue with this important goal by bringing to each and every person with a disability the materials they need to improve their health. Thank you to our partners and vast community of supporters - we couldn't do it without you!
