Gold Medalists from National Veterans Wheelchair Games (NVWG) to Appear on Cheerios Box

Rory Cooper, gold medalist at the NVWG and Ph.D. researcher and published author in the field of assistive technology design at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, is a 25-year participant in NVWG. He has attended and medaled nearly every year since 1983. "The Games are best things that VA (U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs) and PVA (Paralyzed Veterans of America) created," he says. "This event serves as a critical mechanism for rehabilitation and healing."
