Benefits of Playing Goalball


Goalball provides a unique opportunity to individuals who play the sport for recreation or for competition.  For the blind or visually impaired, it provides a way to improve physical fitness while in a team environment.  For sighted individuals, it is a fun activity that promotes awareness of what individuals with a visual impairment can do.   Below are a few of the benefits playing goalball can provide those who take up the challenge of this unique and fun sport:
