NCHPAD - Building Healthy Inclusive Communities

Get Inspired

The start of a New Year is a great time to turn resolutions into health habits. Hopefully this article sparked some ideas on health habits that you can create with your kids. Experts say it takes approximately 21 days to develop a new habit. Begin thinking about what health habits you are going to incorporate into your daily life in 2013, and share them with the NCHPAD community on Twitter. We will be launching Habit for Health 21, a social media campaign, to encourage healthy habits in the New Year.  Follow @NCHPAD and share your health habit with the hashtag #habit4health21.  You will be able to connect with other followers, generate new health habit ideas, and use NCHPAD as your virtual health coach. Ask us questions about how to get started or maintain your health habit, and we will pick two health habits a week for a featured Tweet!

Check out how a few kids in our area are trying something new!
