Try a New Healthy Recipe


Ants on a Log

 

Ingredients:

  • Peanut butter
  • Raisins
  • Celery stick

Fill pre-sliced celery sticks with peanut butter and top with raisins.

 

 

 

 

The Pita Pizza

Ingredients:

 

  • Whole-wheat pita bread
  • Hummus
  • Spinach leaves (tear up into smaller pieces using your hands)   
  • Black beans
  • Artichoke hearts
  • Low-fat Swiss or mozzarella cheese, shredded

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spread hummus on pita bread. Top with a layer of torn spinach, black beans and artichoke hearts. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Place on baking sheet and bake in oven for 15 minutes or until the pita appears toasted. You can get creative with this recipe and make any type of pizza you desire.
