Yoga for Persons with Multiple Sclerosis
Eric Small is a certified Iyengar Yoga instructor who has lived with multiple sclerosis (MS) for almost 50 years. Information on this tape is based on his studies of the work of B.K.S. Iyengar, one of the foremost teachers of yoga, but specifically for students with MS. The Yoga session is divided into four parts: (1) refresh, (2) energize, and for (3) ambulatory and (4) supported movements. All poses make full use of props (e.g., chair, strap, blanket) so that they are more accessible. Small's instructions are clear and detailed, and he demonstrates proper alignment for persons with MS.
