"Building Healthy Inclusive Communities"

With the launch of our new website, we wanted to create a tagline that succinctly, accurately highlighted what we strive to do. Healthy inclusive communities are ones in which the healthiest choices are the easiest ones, and are equally accessible to all community members, ensuring health equity for all.

It is our goal to help create and improve inclusion in communities across the country. This can be as simple as providing resources for inclusive walking clubs, fitness classes, and walking meetings, or as broad as providing insight to help create or amend a community Complete Streets policy that is truly inclusive and promotes safe, healthy opportunities for pedestrians of all abilities and ages.

For additional information on creating healthy, inclusive communities, and for improving and increasing inclusion in some aspect of your community, check out our inclusive resources page.

See something you really like? Have any questions about inclusion? Interested in an additional topic we haven't covered? Give us a call, shoot us an email, or let us know on social media, and we'll be glad to provide you with answers and insight.
