Aquatic Rehabilitation Center

Our spacious and fully accessible Aquatic Rehabilitation Center features two pools, a state-of-the-art fitness center and three spacious locker rooms for men, women and families. We offer a wide variety of water aerobic, strength training and conditioning exercise classes as well as aquatic and occupational therapy.

Community and group memberships are available.

Class Descriptions
  • Deep Water Workout: Improve your cardiovascular endurance and muscle tone in a high intensity deep water workout with use of flotation and resistance equipment.
  • Arthritis: A fun and gentle shallow-water exercise program designed to enhance mobility and flexibility.
  • Aqua Tone: Work on overall strenght, posture and muscle tone in a fun water movement class.
  • Deep Water Walking: Instead of walking on land, why not use the water for more comfort? This is a low intensity deep water walking class that improves your cardiovascular endurance and muscle tone.
  • Aqua Release: Do you have stiffness and stress that comes with fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue or arthritis? Then this is the class for you! Exercise in our special purpose therapy pool using the natural support and resistance of the water to relieve pain and stress.
  • Parent and Tot: This American Red Cross Infant and Preschool Aquatics Program helps young children become comfortable in and around the water so they are ready to learn to swim. It gives parents information and techniques to help orient their child to the water and to supervise water activities in a safe manner. This program is not designed to teach swimming or survival skills. (One adult, one child 6 months to 3 years old).
  • Lessons: Individual swim instruction for all beginners as well as the advanced swimmer is available by appointment for all ages.
  • SPARK: Special Care's Aquatic Recreation for Kids.
  • Aquatic Exercise Assistance: One on one assistance to carry out an established aquatic exercise program.
