Notes

Challenge Alaska Adaptive Ski and Snowboard School was established at Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, Alaska in 1995. A beautiful, 4,500 square foot accessible facility was built on the slope side of the beginner hill and is the same building used today for the Challenge Alaska ski school.

The ski school back door literally opens right onto the ski area, with splendid views of the Chugach Mountains and Turnagain Arm. Inside there is a full kitchen, comfortable great room with couches and fireplace, and a full service rental shop.

Lessons

Challenge Alaska can schedule morning, afternoon, or all day lessons nearly every day that the resort operates. The ski school maintains a full service rental shop including all the very latest in adaptive, alpine and snowboard equipment.
