Chastain Horse Park has been designated a Premier Accredited Center by the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association ("NARHA"). Equine-assisted activities and therapies exercise the spirit as well as the body, an enormous benefit to people with physical, mental, and emotional health challenges.

Chastain Horse Park's Therapeutic Program provides both Hippotherapy sessions and Therapeutic Riding lessons. Hippotherapy sessions are led by a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Therapist. Therapeutic Riding lessons are led by a NARHA certified riding instructor. A team of trained volunteers lead the horse and walk beside the rider as needed.
