Description
  • Mission:
To build, operate and maintain a premier, non-profit, equestrian facility serving the community by offering therapeutic riding programs for students with mental or physical disabilities, programs for children-at-risk and inner-city children, boarding services and riding lessons for the general public, and other equestrian activities and events to encourage community use of Chastain Horse Park.

The therapeutic programs focus on sports, recreational riding, and operate weekly, assisted by volunteers, in accordance with the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA) guidelines.

The facilities include four barns housing 86 stalls to serve the therapeutic and outreach programs, boarding, and a riding program for the public.

Our barn managers reside on the premises, and coordinate daily care and turnout for the horses. Riding areas include a therapeutic arena, practice arena, a covered arena, and our main arena.
