Notes

EEL (Equine Experiential Learning)
EEL is a process that teaches participants, disabled or not, how to deal with and learn about their own emotions. It involves partnering with a horse on the ground to learn emotional intelligence: learning how to use emotional information as a tool to facilitate physical, emotional, and spiritual balance. EEL helps people learn effective interpersonal communication skills, increase awareness of how emotions affect our daily lives, improve attention and responsibility for one's own actions, and enhance self-confidence. It allows the participant to learn and practice the skills needed to face fears, communicate true feelings, and access hidden strengths.
