F.I.T.T.: Fitness Ideas, Trends, & Topics: Making Fitness Fun


When was the last time that you played? If it hasn't been since you were 10 years old, then take note. As a personal trainer over the past 10 years, I have entertained many clients' excuses for why fitness cannot fit into the day, but now as a mom of a 6-month-old, I can relate. For many of us who must give priority to family, work, or other activities over our own needs, ironically, if we exercised regularly we would probably have more energy to devote to these endeavors. Yet for many individuals, the words "exercise" or "workout" conjure up negative images which can prevent them from making exercise and their health a priority. So, put the fun back into fitness! Here are a few simple ideas to get you started.
