About Hi, I am MrsAmy and I am a married retired Christian artist. My husband has anxieties and depression. We live in a large city in a big apartment where I enjoy gardening, art, coloring and creating daily. I enjoy socializing on Facebook and Zoom, but the public scares me since I have a lot of anxieties. I deal with my mental health daily I have anxiety, bipolar, depression, PTSD, and SAD. I am currently a smoker, but I have COPD, asthma and sleep apnea. I enjoy my afternoon naps with my sleep machine. I have severe arthritis in both my knees, so I wobble and walk with a walker, except in my home where I am free to roam, my walker has a seat, so it helps me sit down when my knees give out or I am waiting for my rides to go to the doctors. My hope is loose 82lbs and to gain strength and understanding in my ability and be able to eventually go sightseeing again.

Welcome to NCPAD's 14-Week Program to a Healthier You!

What is the program?

  • Description: A free, personalized, web-based physical activity and nutrition program
  • Target Audience: People with mobility limitations, chronic health conditions and physical disabilities
  • Goal: To help you get moving and making healthy nutrition choices
  • Duration: 14 weeks

How does it work?

  • You register for the program and tell us a little about yourself.
  • We take the information you gave us and, to the best of our abilities, provide you with personalized resources and exercises that meet your individual needs over the course of 14 weeks.
  • Because there is new material each week that builds on the previous weeks, the program works best if you visit at least once a week.
