The Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. Foundation Parent Public Policy Fellowship Program 2006

Parents or close family members of a child with intellectual or developmental disabilities are invited to submit applications for a one-year fellowship in Washington, D.C., to learn how legislation is initiated, developed, and passed by Congress, or how programs are administered and regulations disseminated by federal agencies. The American Society on Aging (ASA) Healthcare and Aging Awards

The annual Healthcare and Aging Awards, sponsored by the Pfizer Medical Humanities Initiative, recognize outstanding programs and services in healthcare and aging. In 2006, the awards will be given to organizations that have demonstrated high-quality, innovative programs that enhance the health-related quality of life in older adults.
