Notes

When the weather's bad or you just feel like exploring a new challenge, give us a call and try either of our Indoor Rock Climbing programs. Working in collaboration with two of Vermont's finest climbing centers Vermont Adaptive offers indoor rock climbing lessons year round. The creative and challenging rock gyms in Rutland and Burlington each offer over 8000 square feet of routes for the never ever climber to the expert rock monkey. They also have their own unique bouldering areas for those of you who'd rather stick closer to the ground. Let your fingers do the walking (literally) and feel your way around the rock gyms. As with all of our programs, this program is open to individuals with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities, and has reasonable program fees.

  • Green Mountain Rock Climbing Center is located on Woodstock Avenue in Rutland. Tucked just off Woodstock Ave (Route 4) and between Great Outdoors Sporting Goods and Applebee's Restaurant the gym is painted a wild orange, purple and green with giant words (Green Mountain Rock Gym) painted on the outside. The building is wheelchair accessible
  • Petra Cliffs is located slightly north of Burlington on Route 7. Turn left on Flynn Avenue. Take Flynn past Pine Street and turn Left on Briggs Street just before the railroad tracks. Petra Cliffs is at the end of the street. The building is wheelchair accessible.
