Adult Programs:
Warm Springs Sports offers some great opportunities for the serious competitor and the weekend warrior in all of us!

1.Archery
Archery is open to participants ages 12 and up. It is typically facilitated prior to hunting season in south Texas. The goal of the program is not only to provide participants with awareness and resources, but the safety and ecological aspects involved with this sport.

2.Basketball
If you are into basketball, then their recreational basketball league is the place for you to be. The league is open for those ages 15 and up. The recreational league is held beginning in January and consists of scrimmage games with a basketball team from Austin.

3.Dance
The In-Flight Dance Program is facilitated by Dance Instructor, Paula Gorman. This unique program incorporates dancers with and without disabilities in the form of expressive art.

4.Football
Football practice is held weekly beginning at the end of June and runs through the beginning of August. It is an exciting program and concludes with the always intense Spoke Bender Bowl.

5.Golf
Participants have the opportunity to spend evenings practicing their swings at our golf program that is held weekly at a driving range in San Antonio. Once they have practiced, their skills are put to the test at Warm Springs Sports' Annual Abilitees Challenge Golf Tournament and Clinic. This program is great for golfers of all ability levels.

6.Handcycling
Warm Springs Sports generally conducts the Handcycling program in the fall at McAllister Park in San Antonio. Participants enjoy and evening riding around the scenic trails of the park.

7.Hockey
Hockey is facilitated according to the design and rules of Roller Hockey. The program is offered for participants ages 5 and up, but games are facilitated according to age and skill level. Equipment used in Hockey includes a 3' long hockey stick, round hockey ball, wheelchairs and lots of pads!

8.Scuba
The Scuba course is based upon the criteria of the Handicapped Scuba Association and is typically facilitated at Dive Masters in San Antonio. The program is open to persons of all abilities. Able-bodied divers will receive a Diver Buddy Certification (Beginner and Advanced Levels). Divers with disabilities will be certified in one of three categories, according to their ability to perform in this activity. The program is offered for ages 15 and over.

9.Softball
The weekly softball practice held during May and June allows participants to prepare for the end of the season tournament. The practice is fun, exciting and is definitely a place for the ball player in all of us.

10.Tennis
The Warm Springs Tennis Program is held August and September. Athletes practice their skills weekly in preparation for local tennis tournaments.
