There is no fee for AIM services.

The AIM Water Program has been running each year from October through April since 1976. Each class lasts one-half hour and three sessions are held, where the students work on a one-to-one basis with volunteers.

Although the main purpose of the program is not to teach the children to swim, many children have gone on to earn their Beginner's Swimming Card for Adaptive Swimming from the American Red Cross. They work on basic swimming strokes, but special emphasis is placed in their particular area of need, such as: legs, arms, breathing, or body control. Trust between the volunteer and student quickly develops due to the contintued one-on-one experience.
