Cardinal Hill's Aquatic Therapy pool allows individuals to perform water exercises on their own or work with a qualified therapist to develop an individually designed exercise program. The pool measures 24-feet by 32-feet and runs from 4-feet to 5-feet in depth. The water temperature ranges between 94 and 96 degrees in order to warm muscles, joints and ligaments which allows for easier stretching and movement while exercising. Arthritis Pool Classes are taught by Cardinal Hill staff certified by the Kentucky Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation. We also have a Lumbar Stabilization Pool class taught by CHRH staff. The Independent Pool Program allows patients to do individual exercises without a therapist during pool hours.
