Our goal is to benefit each child emotionally, physically and socially while helping those who require individualized attention and guidance enjoy and participate in recreational activities. Handi Kids’ 35-acre complex is entirely handicapped accessible. Our swimming pool has a wheelchair ramp. Our boating pond has a special bridge allowing children to fish.Our riding arena has ramps for mounting and dismounting. Our playgrounds, main gymnasium and arts & crafts building were designed with the challenged child in mind.

Founded in 1963 by the Knights of Pythias fraternal organization, Handi Kids offers financial aid to qualified families. We strive to ensure that no child is turned away due to their inability to pay.
