Description

• Since 1961, the Association in Manhattan for Autistic Children, Inc. (AMAC) has provided a family of services to help people of all ages with autistic-spectrum disorders and their families. AMAC's effective programming uses the Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) method, the only scientifically-based and state-approved treatment for autistic-spectrum disorders which relies on intensive behavioral intervention to teach targeted skills and behaviors, and has been proven to make a significant difference to the lives of people with autistic and autistic-spectrum disorders.
