About The Author


Beth Scalone, PT, OCS is a licensed physical therapist with over 13 years of experience. As the owner of North County Water and Sports Therapy Center in San Diego, Beth specializes in aquatic therapy and Pilates exercise. Along with clinical work, she teaches continuing education courses to other professionals with a focus on aquatic therapy and spinal cord injury rehabilitation. Over the last two years, Beth has adapted the Pilates exercises and principles to meet the needs of her patients and clients with disabilities.
