About Hello Everyone, My name is Roychell. I have weakness in my right leg and it can be difficult sometime to put pressure on the leg. I truly believe not being active over the years have contributed to a lot of my weakness. I am excited about starting this program. I use to enjoy working out many years ago, but I have not been motivated to get active in a long time. My husband is a diabetic and he need to get physically active too. I am hoping if I start he will follow. I am looking forward to meeting everyone in the program and even offering encouragement along the way! I enjoy playing games to keep my mind active, such as solitaire and solving puzzles! I believe life really is about motivating each other! Welcome to NCPAD's 14-Week Program to a Healthier You!

What is the program?

  • Description: A free, personalized, web-based physical activity and nutrition program
  • Target Audience: People with mobility limitations, chronic health conditions and physical disabilities
  • Goal: To help you get moving and making healthy nutrition choices
  • Duration: 14 weeks

How does it work?

  • You register for the program and tell us a little about yourself.
  • We take the information you gave us and, to the best of our abilities, provide you with personalized resources and exercises that meet your individual needs over the course of 14 weeks.
  • Because there is new material each week that builds on the previous weeks, the program works best if you visit at least once a week.
