Smith Rack
- Here, the weight bench is shown at an angle. The user is wearing a seat belt for added stability.
- Individual has both hands on the bar (palms facing away from the body) a little more than shoulder width apart.
- Elbows are bent at 90 degrees and the bar is around chest level.
- The back remains in contact with the back seat pad and arching the back should be avoided throughout the entire exercise.
- In addition, the lower half of the body remains against the seat pad at all times and should not lift off at any point.
