Beth Curry is the Chief Program Officer for Lakeshore Foundation.At Lakeshore, she is responsible for development, implementation and management of programs, activities and events that fulfill the mission and vision of Lakeshore Foundation. Known in the healthcare industry as Beth Dozier, Curry, who returned to her maiden name in 2008, has worked at Lakeshore Rehabilitation Hospital since 1984. Starting as a physical therapist, she served the past 13 years as Director of Therapy Operations where she supervised the daily functions for inpatient and outpatient therapy including physical, occupational and speech therapy.Curry received her Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (1984) and her B.S. in Mathematics from Birmingham-Southern College. Curry serves on the health careers subcommittee of the Norton Board for Birmingham-Southern College where she assists students interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. From 1997 to 2002 she was a member of the state license board for physical therapy.Ms. Currys background in health care will be a valuable addition to the NCHPAD team.
