Hello NCHPAD Friends and Viewers,
My name is Bob Lujano, and I am an information specialist for NCHPAD. I want to welcome all of our subscribers and members of NCHPAD. We are so thankful that you have remained patient as we moved offices to our new location in Birmingham, Alabama.
The mission of the National Center on Health, Physical Activity and Disability (NCHPAD), founded in 1999, is to promote substantial health benefits that can be gained from participating in regular physical activity. We will continue to follow the mission of NCHPAD and strive to be the top provider of services and resources that benefit you. Your concerns and issues are our top priority. We will do our best to address your needs and to be leaders in tackling emerging issues. As always, we will adhere to a high standard of customer service.
Please remember that the toll free NCHPAD hot line (800-900-8086) is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Time. If you cannot reach us during those hours, please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible. You can also email us at email@ncpad.org. Our staff will promptly provide information from articles, contact information and websites that will address your concerns.
Also, please consider subscribing to NCHPAD’s program, 14 Weeks to a Healthier You at www.ncpad.org/14weeks. This program helps us realize and implement the reality that our bodies are meant to be in motion, regardless of our level of disability.
Finally, please welcome Information Specialists Luke Hanson, Allison Hoit and Kelly Bonner to our NCHPAD staff. Their work promises to lead us toward an even brighter future for NCHPAD.
