In May 2020 the Administration on Aging released its 2019 Profile of Older Americans. This report is an annual summary of critical statistics related to the population of older adults living in the United States. According to the report, 34% of people over the age of 65 reported living with some type of disability and 49% of people age 75 and older reported having a difficulty in physical functioning.
