MYS Recreation

The McLean Youth Soccer (MYS) Recreation program (or House League) focuses on individual player development and the enjoyment of the game of soccer � not on teams or winning games. We believe it is important for our players, parents and coaches to embrace this philosophy as it is an important foundation of MYS. Our small-sided, continuous play model that maximizes touches on the ball has been widely copied throughout the country.

The House program encompasses our recreational soccer programs for players ages 4 to 18, or the Under 5 (U5) to Under 19 (U19) divisions, and a TOPSoccer program.

Program Overview

TOPSoccer stands for The Outreach Program for soccer and it is a community-based training and team placement program for youth of all ages with disabilities.

As one of the first clubs in Virginia to offer TOPSoccer, MYS is proud to encourage youth players of all ages with special needs to learn the game of soccer.

The MYS TOPSoccer program meets on Saturdays or Sundays during the Fall and Spring seasons and is organized and run by volunteer parents and youth players in MYS.
