Higher Ground delivered its 3rd program at our New York Chapter June 24-30 at Beaver Hollow Conference Center serving 4 veteran couples. Our recreation therapy programming focused kayaking and fishing as our platform to discuss self-care tools such as deep breathing, mindfulness, increasing physical activity, building camaraderie and of course having FUN, among many others to improve overall health and wellness.
