The After School Program is held four days per week at Gateway Michael School and serves ten children each day. The main goal of the After School Program is to encourage the students to improve their quality of life through physical exercise. It provides a sixty (60) minute recreational opportunity for children to build sporting skills, learn exercises to strengthen muscles and to improve coordination, improve wheelchair mobility, build self esteem and learn the importance of wellness in their lives. Participation is ensured by providing free transportation to all.
