UNIFIED SOFTBALL

Unified Softball is an integrated program opportunity that is designed to bring together equal numbers of athletes with and without developmental disabilities on the same team. Teams will be organized and then scheduled to compete in a recreational Unified Softball League. A letter with team and schedule information will be mailed to all athletes in mid-May. The season will end in an All-Star game on the Tuesday following regular play (including rain dates).

Athletes will be placed on teams by the program director. Special requests for coaches and teams cannot be made and still serve the balance of fairness for all participants. Therefore, individual requests to play on a certain team will not be considered when assigning players to teams.
