With an average of 2 children per counselor, and medical staff on-site, there is always a helping hand when needed at Camp Blackhawk. Counselors are specially trained to handle the needs of children with epilepsy. Camp Blackhawk is being held in a NEW location�Camp Red Leaf at Red Leaf Village, an American Camp Association (ACA) accredited camp which is located in Ingleside, IL and operated by the Jewish Council for Youth Services. Ingleside is in Lake County, just south of the Illinois/Wisconsin Border in Lake County and easily accessible by car or Metra train. Parents and/or caretakers will be required to transport their child to and from camp this year. Camp Blackhawk activities include: Crafts, Swimming,Archery,Canoeing, Music, Fishing ...and more!
