  • Swimming - YMCA
People with developmental disabilities or cognitive disabilities or a combination of the two may become a Special Olympic athlete. Anyone ages 8 and above may become an athlete.

We currently have about 30 athletes in Dare County (mostly adults), trying to get more youth involved.
