Shiloh Center, located in south Asheville, offers a variety of activities for all ages, plus the new Special Needs Program offering recreation activities for people with disabilities. The center features a gymnasium, multi-purpose room, library, weight room and classrooms. The center is surrounded by Shiloh Park with a lighted ballfield, basketball courts, tennis courts, walking track and a playground. Contact Shiloh Center to reserve the park or meeting rooms. The Therapeutic Recreation Program delivers a variety of recreation and educational program to people who require specialized services due to developmental and/or physical disabilities. Services focus on enabling people to develop new recreatinal skills and maintain existing ones to enhance health, independence, and well-being.
