Basic Sailing Basic Coastal Cruising 101/103. Classes are limited to 4 students and offered from May through September. The classroom will be aboard a Catalina 30, Hunter 30 or Gib'Sea 33. You will spend 6-8 hours each day on-the-water or testing ashore. You will spend a great deal of time at the helm and observing others at the helm. There will be both written tests and on-the-water skills and drills to complete.
