Participant Opportunities
Basic instruction is given in grooming, tacking, horsemanship, riding and/or driving skills. Class includes mounted exercise, games, trail riding, and much more. WHOA also offers program riders eight years of age and older an opportunity to participate in the Special Olympics. WHOA instructors encourage horse shows and other special activities throughout the season.

Session Information

  • Classes are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for one hour per week for each six-week session.
  • Please indicate class time best suited to student on registration form.
  • Additional class times are available if needed.
  • Registration packet must be completed prior to enrollment in class.
  • Payment plans are available!
  • Rain dates and make up classes are scheduled for the week after the end of each session.
