Our team goals at the Fit-N-Wise Wellness Center are to provide a service to the community that is second to none in the industry of physical fitness. We want to educate our community and members on the importance of physical activity, increasing cardiovascular endurance, weight management through nutrition workshops, increased flexibility and functional strength training.

In order to achieve these goals, at the Fit-N-Wise Wellness Center we provide the community with the best equipment, the best facilities and an educated, highly motivated staff of Exercise Specialists degreed and/or licensed in their field.

Fitness assessments are available as part of the membership that allow you and our Exercise Specialists to assess your current fitness level and custom tailor a program that will meet your goals. If you desire, the Exercise Specialists will follow your progress and make personalized recommendations for setting and reaching new goals. For an additional charge, you may also choose to start a one-on-one personal training program with a fitness instructor degreed in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology or a licensed personal trainer.

Included in your membership is a fitness assessment, a personally tailored fitness program, access to our cardiovascular and weight training equipment, 25 meter indoor swimming pool, spin classes, triathlon training, step aerobics, water aerobics and an array of other land aerobic classes. Child care services are available in the facility for a small charge. You may also plan to dine in the Training Zone Caf� after your workout or schedule an appointment with our MASSAGE THERAPIST for the ultimate cool down!

Fitness Classes

Abs and Low Back
Core strength is a must!!! Take just 10 minutes of your time to increase abdominal strength, lower back strength, decrease your chance of back injury and make every day tasks easier. Incorporate this class in your fitness schedule just three times a week and sit back and watch the great results.

Body Sculpting
If you are ready for something new and different with quick results, this is the class for you! This is a great strength workout using Theraband, free weights and a Step as your tools to create a new you!

Boot Camp
This class will be a moderate to high paced circuit class with alternating 2-3 minute cardio and strength segments throughout the workout. Just like all of our classes, this class can be modified to be suitable for both the beginner and veteran members.

Cardio Kickboxing
Cardio Kickboxing (for 10-14 year olds): This class is made up of various kicks and punches through a variety of moves across the floor.

Group Cardio Silver Sneakers

Little Dribblers
Little Dribblers (for 6-9 year olds): For the little hoopster in the family. Learn the basics of basketball and the concept of teamwork.

Moms in Motion
A prenatal/post partum class designed for these special women.

Movin' and Groovin'
Movin' and Groovin' (for 3-5 year olds): High energy activities and games to get the day started.

On the Ball
This class is a great strengthening and toning class that uses the revoluntionary Physio-Ball to make any strenghening exercise work our core (abdominals and back) as well.

Pilates
This mat workout incorporates quality movements to improve core strength, movement and posture.

Power Yoga
Yoga improves strength, cardiovascular conditioning and flexibility combining traditional yoga postures with modern fitness moves. Try this class, you'll love it !!!

Quick Circuit
Feel better physically and emotionally in this low intensity water walking class. This fun class is designed especially for Silver Sneakers participants.

Silver Sneakers Aerobics Program

Silver Sneakers Stretch/Pilates
This Silver Sneakers Class will feature the regular stretch class on 1st, 3rd and 5th Fridays and a Pilates Class on the 2nd and 4th Fridays.

Silver Sneakers Yoga

Spin
Spin is cycling to music and so much more! Your legs will be come much stronger and leaner. Your cardiovascular fitness will soar as you muscle your way through this challenging class. Give this class a chance. It will grow on ya!

Spin/Triathlon
In the search for something new and different? This time slot will feature a combination of classes. The 1st, 3rd and 5th Fridays will be a regular Spin Class. The 2nd and 4th Fridays will be a Triathlon Class. This class will be a combination of walking or jogging, a bike ride on our Spin Bikes in the Aerobic Room and a swim at the end of the class. Each of these segments will last approximately 25 minutes. Each participant will be encouraged to go at his/her own pace. The swimming will be done at the last part of this class and will be highly encouraged, but is optional.

Step
This is an awesome workout using a step and step patterns modified to your skill level. You'll find yourself amazed at how fast this workout goes by as you are encouraged by a certified aerobic instructor and jam to some happening tunes!!!


This 30 minute class focuses on floor exercises and stretching in order to increase muscle tone and flexibility. This is a great class for people of all ages.

Training Wheels
Finally, a Spin Class for beginners! If the thought of a Spin Class makes you break out in a sweat and your legs ache, come learn Spin Basics and pedal your way to a stronger, leaner body. Give this awesome class a chance to be part of your fitness routine!!

Yoga
Yoga improves strength, cardiovascular conditioning and flexibility combining traditional yoga postures with modern fitness moves. Try this class, you'll love it!!

Water Fitness

  • Aqua Attack - Stengthen, define and firm your muscles in this higher intensity shallow water class. You will learn to maximize the water's resistance and challenge each muscle group. Participants should feel comfortable in shallow or deep water with a buoyancy belt. Not designed for beginners or those uncomfortable with deep water!!
  • Aqua Awakening - Wake Up and Work Out! A medium to high deep-water class to get your day going from the start!
  • Aqua Lite - This is a light/medium workout in shallow water, combining the latest moves.
  • Family Swim - Available to Family Members only - NO GUESTS. Therapy Pool is closed for this class. Parent must remain with children in pool area. Pool equipment may not be taken from back room. Parents shall maintain order and discipline making sure all rules are being followed.
  • Junior Swim Team - If your child is interested in swim team, please call us to set up a time for an evaluation of swimming skills
  • Hydro Moves - This medium/advanced class is a great intensity shallow or deep water class designed for those wishing to get an overall body workout.
  • LongFellows Whales Tails - Learn To Swim classes will be held all afternoon, each class lasting 30 minutes. Please sign your child up for the "level" they would demonstrate and we will call you to set up a class time that works with your schedule. If your child is interested in swim team, please call us to set up a time for an evaluation of swimming skills.
  • Off the Deep - This is a medium to high intensity deep water aerobics class for those wishing to experience a more challenging workout. Swim belts are provided.
  • Senior Swim Team - If your child is interested in swim team, please call us to set up a time for an evaluation of swimming skills
  • Silver Fins - Feel better physically and emotionally in this low intensity water walking class. This fun class is designed especially for Silver Sneakers participants.
  • Take the Plunge - This medium/advanced class is a highter intensity shallow water class designed for those wishing to get an overall body workout.
  • Water Babies - Learn To Swim classes will be held all afternoon, each class lasting 30 minutes. Please sign your child up for the "level" they would demonstrate and we will call you to set up a class time that works with your schedule. If your child is interested in swim team, please call us to set up a time for an evaluation of swimming skills. The Water Babies ad Water Tots classes are taught with at least ONE parent/guardian in the pool with the child.
  • Water Tots - Learn To Swim classes will be held all afternoon, each class lasting 30 minutes. Please sign your child up for the "level" they would demonstrate and we will call you to set up a class time that works with your schedule. If your child is interested in swim team, please call us to set up a time for an evaluation of swimming skills. The Water Babies ad Water Tots classes are taught with at least ONE parent/guardian in the pool with the child.
  • Water Walk - This is a low intensity, shallow water motions class for those looking to make some first time waves! Excellent for beginners or those not comfortable in water.
