Hearts Adaptive Riding is dedicated to providing quality horseback riding to children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities.

Therapeutic horseback riding is particularly effective in dealing with disabilities such as developmental delay, learning disabilities, cerebral palsy, autism, spina bifida, multiple sclerosis, Down Syndrome, head injury and visual or hearing impairments. Students are referred through many local channels, including Devereaux, Rehibilitation Institute of Santa Barbara and private sector physicians and therapists.

We offer 30 minute private or one hour group lessons. Our groups typically do not have more than four students riding at one time. Unfortunately, at this time Hearts is unable to accept payments from medical insurance companies. If you are interested in an assessment for a lesson contact Hearts.
