Methow Valley Riding Unlimited is dedicated to promoting the health, healing, and well being of individuals and the community through integrated educational, therapeutic, and recreational horsemanship programs and community service opportunities for people of all ages and abilities.
Weekly therapeutic horsemanship classes are offered for children and adults with physical, mental, and emotional impairments. These individuals participate in various equine related activities including grooming, tacking-up, horseback riding, vaulting and driving, in order to address specific educational, developmental, and therapeutic goals. These classes take place under the direction of a certified therapeutic riding instructor, with assistance from community volunteers, in consultation with the appropriate health and educational professionals.
