Shapedown is a nationally recognized weight loss program for children. Children's Specialized Hospital will be running its 6th 10 week program for kids 7 - 12 years of age. The Shapedown Program works not only with the child but with the family in developing a healthy lifestyle including healthy eating, exercise and family communication. Staff includes a physical therapist, nurse, dietitian, and a psychologist. Registration is limited to 10 families and at least one parent is required to attend.
