Rising Stars offers instruction in Western riding and English driving. Sessions are usually held out doors in a enclosed area. We offer sessions starting late in May and running through October.

Eligibility for services is based on the fact that the participant must have a serious mental illness. Cost of participation in the program is subsidized by grants, donations by community organizations and individual contributions.

Specialization is in assisting individuals with mental illness meet individual goals through learning basics horsemanship skills and learning to ride/ drive a horse. Our staff consists of 2 registered level riding instructors, who are also certified counselors.
