Raemelton Therapeutic Equestrian Center (RTEC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to therapeutic riding for the person with disabilities. Since opening our doors in 1995 we have grown from a small group of thirteen riders, to more than 90 students a week year-round. Located on the grounds of a former estate, Raemelton's facilities include an outdoor arena and a fully equipped indoor riding arena complete with a view room. We have 24 horses on the property selected for their gentle temperaments. Our NARHA certified instructors in conjunction with a team of highly dedicated volunteers enable disabled riders to participate in a sport that is normally performed only by able-bodied persons. Research has proven that therapeutic riding exercises not only the body, but the mind and spirit as well!
