The mission of the Therapeutic Recreation Unit is to provide support to the Department of Parks and Recreation and to assist persons with disabilities to access parks and leisure activities. They provide recreational activities such as arts and crafts, games, outdoor recreation, etc., for people with disabilities at City parks and recreation program sites.
