T.R.O.T. (Therapeutic Riding of the Tri-States) is an outreach program of HastyHeart Equestrian Center in East Dubuque, Illinois. HastyHeart T.R.O.T. is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. We are a member center of the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA). A therapeutic horseback riding program uses equine-oriented activities for the purpose of contributing positively to the cognitive, physical, emotional and social well-being of individuals with disabilities. The activities provide benefits in the areas of physical and emotional therapy, education, sport, and recreation and leisure. HastyHeart T.R.O.T. provides therapeutic, instructional and educational programming for persons of all ages. We also provide hippotherapy services through Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque. Our mission is to prove that all are equal when on a horse.
