The We Can Ride program, founded in 1982, offers therapeutic horseback riding and cart driving to children and adults with disabilities. We Can Ride is an accredited, nonprofit, tax-exempt member of the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA).

• Provide individualized therapy for each rider.
• Offer additional classes during the riding season to shorten the waiting list.
• Expand the availability of therapeutic riding to more individuals by having multiple riding sites.
• Maintain NARHA accreditation.
• Establish programs within area school districts.
• Educate the community to the benefits therapeutic riding.
• Work with children at risk to teach them barn management skills, volunteer skills, and leadership skills.
