STRIDE is a nonprofit corporation with IRS 501(c)(3) status dedicated to helping children and adults with special needs discover new abilities and achieve new heights through therapeutic, educational, and recreational activities involving horses.
STRIDE's mission is to help exceptional Alaskans achieve new heights and discover new abilities through supervised therapeutic equestrian activities. STRIDE is committed to promoting activities involving horses as an effective treatment option for individuals who have physical, mental, or emotional disorders by developing community awareness of equine assisted and equine facilitated forms of therapy.
